Where it all started....

Well, it started many years ago at a company called RPS. The company name changed and so did mine in 2001. From there, the road led us to the ATL and our own business. I left the road to have babies, but it sure is hard to take the trucker out of a Momma!

Is it wrong??

My girl is turning 3 tomorrow. She wanted a pink cake and hotdogs. That is what she is getting. We aren't doing a party. She is 3....she won't remember. We didn't invite friends over or rent a place out. She is 3....she won't remember. We don't have big gifts, just a couple little things. She is 3....she won't remember. I keep telling myself that, but is it true or is it wrong?

A lot of my friends have had their kids take dance, play t-ball, are playing soccer, or take them to gymnastics. My kid can't focus on one thing or more than 15 minutes unless it is the TV. Is she really going to learn to dance or play ball with that attention span and at the age of 3? I would rather save that $$$ and buy her a car when she is 16 so she can drive herself to a JOB! Is it wrong??

I go to consignment sales and buy the kids clothes. I am not picky about names. If it is the right size and it still has life left in it, I buy it. My kids don't have nice clothes and play clothes. All of them are play clothes because that is what kids do.....play!! Is it wrong?

I HATE to pay for places to take my kids to play!! I don't mean the zoo or aquarium, but things like the jump houses. I pay taxes and think the park is an awesome place to go and have fun! It offers a change of scenery from our house, but doesn't cost me a red cent! I took the kids (with some friends and yes it was fun!) to a place to play a couple weeks back and paid $15.50 for my kids to play with some of the same toys they don't play with at home! I was pissed! Is it wrong?

Disclaimer: Any friends that read this and think I am being mean towards you....I am not. I am trying to justify things in my own mind. I am a Plain Jane kind of Mom trying to fit in with other Moms and I don't get things sometimes!
